Easy to Find
Verano Countrystay is located in the Hawkes Bay Region on the East Coast of the North Island of New Zealand. The centres of Hastings and Havelock North are an easy ten minutes drive while the art deco capital of Napier is only a twenty five minute drive across the plains. Napier can be reached by direct regional airline services from Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch.
A Magical Area
Set in the Bridge Pa Triangle Wine District and very close to the Gimblett Gravels, Verano Countrystay is the perfect place to discover what New Zealand's second largest wine growing region has to offer. Other local facilities include two 18 hole golf courses, the Bridge Pa airfield, and an equestian arena and park. A little further afield, the region has many attactions to keep visitors occupied.
A Cyclist's Paradise
A short ride down our quiet country road will put you and your bike onto Hawkes Bay's extensive network of cycleways with most of the routes made from crushed limestone. Easy grades make for an easy ride to visit our local wineries on the Wine Trail or explore more of the region from your base at the Verano Countrystay. Bicycle hire is available from On Yer Bike who are located at the Ash Ridge Winery.

Verano Countrystay is located at the end of a quiet country road and is situated on an 18 1/2 acre miniature horse stud farm.
Self Contained Accommodation
Verano Countrystay is self contained and can accommodate a maximum of five people with shared bathroom facilities.
Short Stay or Long stay
Join us for a night, or for a week and more. You'll wish you could stay longer. We can also accommodate horses but sorry, no dogs.
Family Friendly
Verano Countrystay has its own garden and orchard in which to relax. You might even get to meet our sheep and the horses!
