Verano Countrystay is located at 71 Montana Road, Bridge Pa, Hastings 4175, New Zealand. We are a short distance from State Highways 50 and 50A making the property easy to get to from major routes to the north and south.
Give Me a MapVerano Countrystay is a 120 sq m house situated on a family owned property located in rural Hawkes Bay. This is an operational agricultural property and is the home of Hollywood Miniature Horses. Guests are most welcome to walk around the property and meet the animals but, for their own safety, we ask that guests do not enter paddocks with horses in them or enter any of the sheds and stables.
Verano Countrystay has outdoor seating and tables to ensure that you can make the most of the wonderful Bridge Pa climate. A gas fired barbeque is provided for cooking Hawkes Bay's fine produce; just perfect for those long lunches with a glass or two of local wine. If you are lucky you will be serenaded from dawn by our bell birds and we usually have fantails and tuis to keep you company during the day.
Even though we are located in one of the best climatic zones in New Zealand we do have lots to do indoors. The Apple TV has a Netflix, access to a number of TV channels, and games to keep 'kids' of all ages quiet. We have good books to read and, if the weather gets really bad, you can always snuggle down and watch the flames in the woodburner while the cook in your party whips up something nice in the kitchen.
Verano Countrystay has a well equipped kitchen with cook top, oven, microwave, breadmaker and dishwasher. Bedding and linen is provided and will be changed once a week during extended stays. The laundry is equipped with a washing machine, drier, iron and ironing board. We provide breakfast ingredients for the first day of your stay.
We know that, no matter how much you want to escape, sometimes you do need to keep in touch with the world. We provide free intenet WiFi for you to use and good cellphone coverage is available for all of New Zealand's cellular service providers. You can also put prepaid post into our letter box by the road, pop up the flag, and our rural postie will send it on its way.
